Our History
Established in 2020, B&K Tea Cafe was founded by Bobby Cain and Kristen Compton who both graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2021. Together, they found a passion for customer service and bubble tea while working at the same boba shop in Chapel Hill, NC.
B&K Tea Cafe was established on the basics of quality, efficiency, and consistency. B&K uses the highest quality syrups, tea leaves, and powders for every hand crafted bubble tea. We pride ourselves in our passion and make it our goal to exceed our customers' expectations. B&K and its staff are determined to provide a positive experience by ensuring a quick, friendly visit every time. We are a locally owned and operated business and we who hope to serve you soon!

What is boba?
Originating from Taiwan, boba, also known as bubble tea, is mixture of tea, milk, or fruit-infused water. Boba is accompanied by chewy tapioca pearls that add an exciting twist in every drink. Its unique combination of ingredients creates a tasteful experience that captivates the taste buds of all ages.
